INKspired Blog Hop 40

Helloooo! and Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddies out there and to all the Mummies that do double duties - you're amazing!

Welcome back to another INKspired Artists Blog Hop - our 40th!

You're coming to me from the gorgeous Barbara Williams, I loooove her creations.

This week's sketch was a clean, simple one - they're actually my favourite just quietly, I'm a simple girl LOL

Here is the sketch created by the gorgeous Teneale Williams.

In true Lisa form, my card looks nothing like the sketch.  Well, maybe a little bit.

I've used Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper to create my card front with a sentiment stamped from Watercolor Words.

I love Night of Navy and I especially love the crispness of Crumb Cake against it.  I've added a teeny bit of Gold Glimmer Paper for sparkle. Because, well I like sparkle!

You're off to check out the gorgeous Renee Lynch now.  I know she'll have something amazing to inspire you.

Thanks for popping in.

Enjoy whats left of your weekend xoxo

INKspired Blog Hop 37

Welcome! we've had a little break but we're back with some INKspiring creations and a new team member.  So, grab your cuppa and enjoy.  Be sure to visit everyone and if you can, leave a comment - we love hearing from you.

You have more than likely landed here from the gorgeous Lissa Carter's blog and I am sure she's wowed you with her creation!

I've used a touch of Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers for my card this week.

I adore a black and white palette, so when I saw these papers; black, white, a "pop" of pink and a touch of gold, I knew we'd be friends! and I'm not even a pink person, lol

The Stamp Set from this suite is just as awesome, check out Pop of Paradise... How adorable is that Flamingo?  My daughter's new favourite from this catalogue!

Pop of Paradise is available in Clear Mount and Wood Mount.
Onto what you really came for... the sketch and my creation, right?!

I just love the layers on this sketch,  I love that we'll all interpret the sketch differently and that we'll all see that shape totally different.

Here's my creation, I hope you like it:

Your next INKspired Artist is the beautiful Renee Lynch who always inspires me.

Oh, and don't forget that for every $90 that you spend in July, Stampin' Up! are giving you $9 to spend in August.

To purchase any of the products that I have used on my card, head over to my ONLINE STORE.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope I've inspired you in some way!

INKspired Blog Hop 34 - A Bit of Bohemian

Hello and Welcome to my first Blog Hop for 2016

Are you hopping in from the lovely Barbara Williams? Or have you started here?

 Do me a huge favour?  Blog Hopping is all about sharing the love, so be sure to hop along and look at all of our creations and if you have time please leave us a comment.  We love hearing from you.

IF by chance you get lost anywhere along the way, you'll find the INKspired Artist line up over there in my sidebar.
I've had a lovely break from everything and now that School is back I am ready to rock this year!

My baby girl started High School this year - oh boy that was scary.  But, she loves High School and practically pushes her brother and I out the door every morning!

That's enough about us, and onto something much more exciting...

Some crafty inspiration, here's our sketch;

Anyone who frequents my blog knows that I am a clean and simple girl so I loved this sketch and knew that the Bohemian Designer Series Papers would be just perfect!

Here is my take on the sketch;

Although the base of my card is Very Vanilla, I've used a very thin mat of Blackberry Bliss to create contrast between the very light background of the DSP.  Then for the sentiment, I have used a scrap of Blackberry Bliss then another scrap, this time of Vellum, then I've fed this and the Very Vanilla layers into the side of the Hexagon Punch (this is an awesome way to make banners).

Now it's time for you to hop onto our next INKspired Artist, my Stampin' Bestie, the AWESOME Marlene Goulder... although I haven't seen what she's created, but I know it will be fantastic.

Also, If you haven't got a copy of the Annual Catalogue or the latest Occasions Catalogue, I'd love to send one out to you.  Please email me and I'll get a copy in the mail to you.

Thank you for visiting, Happy Crafting

INKspired Artists Blog Hop THIRTY!!!

Hello and welcome back to another INKspired Artists Blog Hop

For those of you that are new to my blog - WELCOME and thank you for visiting me, or if you're new to blog hopping, here's a super quick introduction for you;
We are 11 INKspired Artists coming together to sharing our spin on one INKspired sketch, created by Teneale Williams. We love to share our love for Stampin' Up! and INKspire you with our creations!

 Have you been to see Cherie's creation yet?

If at anytime during the hop, you get lost - don't worry just click on "next blog" button at the bottom of this post.

This week's sketch is super cute and it inspired me to give you a bit of a sneak peek at some new products from the new catalogue (available to you January 5th 2016)

So, here is this week's sketch:

Super cute, huh?!

During OnStage Live we were shown some gorgeous new goodies, these birthday papers went straight to the top of my list, I love that they're unisex which is fantastic for a couple of reasons;

1 - My son is the only boy on my side of the family and my daughter is the only girl on my husbands side - I know cool!

2 - When I do classes or workshops using these papers I'm catering to everyone - love that!

Here's the real reason you're here - my take on this week's sketch:

It's the bright, user friendly colours (these stripes also appear in Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron in the stack too) I think that makes this Designer Series Paper ROCK (and I'm just a little it partial to stripes)

AND did you notice that cute cupcake punch? and the candle? I know right! ... They're coming in a tiny punch pack that includes a Balloon, Cupcake and a Candle - super super cute!!!

I'd REALLY like to see some of you take this sketch on and if you do, post your creation to Pinterest or Facebook and let me know the link and there might just be a little something in it for you :wink:

Normally, from me you'd head to my bestie Marlene but sadly this week she can't join us BUT you're in for a treat because you're off to the beautiful Renee Lynch, country bumpkin and creative genius herself... enjoy!

Head over to my online store to purchase anything I've used on this card.
(NEW items not available until January 5th)

Thank you for visiting, Happy Crafting
